By the Name of Wood
My uncle used to be a teacher of wood working and shop for high school students. That life seems so far away to him now, since he has been retired for years. But while he is not an official teacher working for the government anymore, he does still have a passion for woodworking and teaching. If you get him in just the right good mood and get him on the topic of wood, you will find it practically impossible to get him to stop. And from his vast knowledge on the subject, my little house has benefited greatly. He helped me pick out mesquite wood floors of the best quality around, and showed me how I could add patterns and mix colors and textures of wood depending on the way it had been cut in relation to the grain, to get interesting and unique floors. We made a beautiful wood floor together, and I will always remember him and his help.

Our youngest child has just flown the nest, and has moved into a house that she has brought.
My husband and I miss her terribly, but are very excited as we have decided to transform the house with a make over.
